As one would expect from a budget or economy high chair, there aren’t many bells and whistles here. Just practical, functional features. What it lacks in extras though, it makes up for in practicality, and cost. A wipeable vinyl coated seat that is machine washable, pull out tray for parents to store foods or other odds and ends, that’s also dishwasher safe, and a bib bar to hang spare bibs or towels, make up the majority of the extras with this one. The t-bar is fixed, and it lacks the five point harness of some more expensive competitors, but the seat does recline, and there is a small toy bar attached to the tray to keep baby busy.

ASSEMBLY AND SETUP

Sometimes simplicity just works. There’s nothing complicated with this chair, and the frame is lightweight and easy to move, even without castors. You should have no problems adding or removing the few components that do require removal.

ADJUSTABILITY

This is a relatively large chair, having been designed with children from infants to three year olds in mind, although the roomy seat might mean you need a pillow or two next to younger children. Because it’s a budget model, some more expensive features, like height adjustability, have been done away with, although because it’s designed to accommodate children up to three, that isn’t really a problem.

EASE OF CLEANING

Lacking the nooks and crannies of more expensive chairs, and with dishwasher safe trays, molded plastic accessories, a wipeable and washable seat pad, and a coated steel frame, this high chair is wonderfully easy to clean. A damp cloth should take care of most problems, and a cycle in the washing machine or dishwasher takes care of everything else. Plus, aside from the parent’s pull out tray, the plastic is white, which makes it a lot easier to spot mess, and clean it up right away. Definitely a winner on the hygiene front.

LOOKS AND STYLE

With simple design, plain colors and muted fabrics on the seat, this chair won’t clash with your dining room furniture.  It is comfortable too, with nice padding on the seat, and smooth curves, with no edges that might irritate baby or cause discomfort.
Its design, while simple, is sturdy, and it looks like a dependable and practical high chair – just what it’s designed to be. Wide spaced legs make for a sturdy chair, and overall, the clean lines make it attractive.
For the price, we believe the Graco Easy Chair high chair is a solid value.
