The Inglesina Zuma high chair reminds us of R2D2 from Star Wars, but in a good way. It looks high tech and very modern, and boasts an impressive array of features. It’s also well made and sturdy, and can fold up to store easily, all of which contribute to making it a top choice. Of course, a price tag of around $300 makes it a little less attractive if you’re on a budget.
Features
4 out of 5 points
The dishwasher safe main tray features a removable snack tray, so you get double duty, with less hassle. The chair has wheels fitted to the telescopic legs, with long braces that rest on the floor when you want baby to stay in one position. It’s also got a five point harness, and as with most other Inglesina models, the molded seat and removable, washable pad, making cleanups a lot easier, but is fixed with Velcro, so it stays put when you want it to.
Very adjustable, super stylish and easy to clean, as well as portable and easy to store, this is quality Italian design for infants.
Assembly and Setup
5 out of 5 points
The Inglesina Zuma comes fully assembled, so there’s no assembly hassles, and the tray and seat pad are super easy to remove and put back.
Adjustability
5 out of 5 points
Another area that the Inglesina Zuma is a winner, it has eight height positions and three reclining positions, so you have a lot of options - taking you from meal time to play time, or even a quick nap. The tray is set a little more forward than some competitors, which could result in a little more mess, but does allow for growth, and with this chair being so easy to clean, a little mess is not a big problem.
Ease of Cleaning
5 out of 5 points
The simple, functional yet modern styling of the chair, with its clean lines, molded plastic that is both curved and seamless, and the removable seat pad and trays all make for a chair that is very, very easy to keep clean.
Look and Style
5 out of 5 points
It depends on individual taste. If you love traditional, you’ll probably hate this chair with its angles and curves, minimalist look and cutting edge feel. We love it though, and if you have a slick stylish home (or would like to) this chair will fit right in.
All in all, the Inglesina Zuma is a good buy, with functionality, looks, and a robust, sturdy design that will last, although it is pricey - so if you are on a budget, you might look at cheaper models.
